Past projects

· Network Monitoring and Reporting System for Telekom Malaysia Streamyx Links. It is a GUI & web base system designed to monitor the performance or Streamyx routers. It has features like Status Map (displaying network tree), timely Performance graph (displaying Interface Traffic, Errors, CPU Usage, etc) and even zooming a graph. The development is using PHP, Apache, MySQL and Debian.

· UTKrip for Oracle8.1.7, a data-at-rest encryption/decryption database tool with key management features. Product still under development under the Security Dept of CASE-UTM. (Win2K, VB6, VC++).

· On-Board Auto-Cruise Automobile Real Time System simulator with a DoD 2167A standard documentation and SDLC project management (WinNT, VC++).

· Microwave oven controller system. An embedded software program to control the heat of the oven, ADC converter, keypad, power supply and other devices. (Assembly, C)

· Teletraffic Engineering Analysis Database (MsAccess) for Time-Telekom SDH Fiber Optic Fixed trunk network. It was designed to provide an analysis result based on the traffic Erlang and congestion level for circuit optimization.

· 3D simulation tools to simulate the effect of antennas directivity using Geometrical-based Statistical Macrocell Channel Model for Wireless Communications Systems to study Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) cellular radio systems employing adaptive antennas and switched beam systems. The tool characterizes the excess delay, direction-of-arrival, and received power of multipath components and is particular useful for microcell and PCS systems with low transmitter and receiver antenna heights. It provide an analytical expressions for the probability density functions for all critical channel parameters and is thus useful for analytical purposes. (Matlab)
